After migrating from Greece to pursue their dream of opening a family restaurant, George and Froni Mangouras established "George's Place" in 1976.  The early years of business were centered around an evening pizza place, while later changing into more of a morning and afternoon cafe.  Old country recipes were replaced with traditional breakfast dishes, pitas, and pastas still possess a Mediteranean flavor.  George and Froni have now been serving traditional breakfast and lunches with quality ingredients and a greek flare for over 30 years. 

This family tradition has been carried on by their son Pete Mangouras and his lifelong friend Derek MacKenzie with the same integrity and passion as his parents.
